Kauai Family Travel: Flytographer

Of course, I never share products I don’t personally use and love.

I remember the first time I heard about Flytographer - scrolling through Instagram and seeing incredible photos of people on vacation all over the world and thinking “that’s for me.” If you are not familiar, Flytographer is a company that offers photography packages in locations and cities worldwide at affordable prices. They make capturing your vacation memories oh so easy.

I have wanted to book a session for years and our trip to Kauai seemed like the perfect time. It was Harrison’s first big trip out of state and I just happened to book the shoot on Mother’s Day so my family had to have a good attitude about it.

Booking was simple. I went to their website, put in my dates and location, and then chose one of the several talented photographers who were available. I appreciated the recommendations for best spots for photos and the many tips about what to wear and how to prepare for the photoshoot.

I cannot emphasize enough how straightforward and fun the entire process was despite the early time recommended by our photographer, Michael, to get the best light. He even managed to get a smile or two from our toddler who was grumpy about taking pictures instead of playing in the sand and water. He made several recommendations for best local things to do and places to eat during our vacation. Best of all, we got our gallery of edited pictures before we even got home.

If you are looking for a special way to commemorate any trip, but maybe perhaps an especially meaningful one (Flytographer does engagement photos, too…), consider booking a photoshoot with Flytographer. At the very least, follow them on Instagram to see all of the amazing memories that are captured for individuals, couples, friends, and families all over the world.

I’ll leave you with one of my favorite pictures from our photoshoot. Hopefully I’ve convinced you that this can be the best souvenir to bring back from any vacation. But, if you’re like me, you also want to save money any way you can. Well I’m here to help. I have a referral code, which will give you money off of your photoshoot (I used one to get $25 off ours). Use the code CORAHART at checkout to get $25 off. If you book by the end of October, it will be double that! And if you do get vacation photos with Flytographer, I’d love to see the pictures!! I know I will treasure these forever.

P.S. - If you’re curious about the carefully coordinated outfits: Brandon’s shirt is from Billabong and is no longer available (although many similar ones are), Harrison’s shirt is from here, and my dress is from here.
